I love golf. I played it a lot when I was younger, in local competitions and state school team. The skill, dedication and patience that is needed for the game has always intrigued me.
Whatever you think about golf, it’s a sport and the men and women who play it are world class athletes.
Today I spent the day at the BEAUTIFUL Lake Karrinyup Golf and Country Club watching these athletes compete for the World Super 6 trophy.
The new format for the Super 6 competition is really interesting. Rounds 1 and 2 are both played with 18 holes each over two days with over 120 competitors. After round 2 the top 65 make the cut. Round 3 is another 18 holes of stroke play. Going into the final round only the top 24 make the cut. The final round is 6 hole knock out rounds. It’s full of excitement!
Lake Karrinyup is an incredible location to be featured on the world stage. None of the photos in this post have a filter… the day was amazing. Bright blue sky and incredible green grass. It’s one of the most amazing and beautiful golf courses in Perth. It’s challenging and picturesque.
