The Disney Difference – Why cruise Disney Cruise Line.

For many, cruising is a time of relaxation, of drinks by the pool and sunshine. You unpack once and you’re on your way. Disney Cruise Line has all that and more… it’s the Disney difference! You get the conveniences, the inclusions, the pools, plus Disney characters and that world-class Disney hospitality. There’s no better way to have a truly magical vacation.

Disney Cruise Line has 5 ships currently sailing – Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, and Wish – another, the Treasure, announced to launch in 2024, and another for 2025. There’s something for everyone!

Magical Entertainment

From Broadway-esque theatre shows, to first-run movies and fireworks, there’s never a dull moment. Depending on the ship you’re cruising on, you might experience Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, or Frozen on stage, Disney Cruise Line original shows, and first-run movies. You might even get dinner and a show or be a part of the magic in one of the main dining rooms. There’s even nightclubs and bars for the adults!

Dining for everyone

Even picky eaters can find something to excite their tastebuds, and their imagination, in one of the main dining rooms, or specialty dining restaurants, onboard each ship. Disney has pioneered the ‘rotational dining’ concept, so everyone gets to experience all the main dining options on offer! Each night you’ll dine in a different restaurant, experiencing different cuisines and entertainment. There’re too many dining options to go through here but here’s a quick rundown of a few:

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience

You’re invited to the engagement party of Queen Anna and Kristoff, with a special appearance by Queen Elsa! You’ll dine on Norwegian-inspired fare made by Oaken himself and even get serenaded by the royals! Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience is available onboard the Disney Wish and is part of the rotational dining experience.

Tiana’s Place

Experience that Big Easy charm and keep the party going all night long. Enjoy some swinging jazz and iconic storytelling as you chow down on some delicious Louisiana-inspired, Creole, and Cajun grub for dinner. Tiana’s Place is available on the Disney Wonder and is part of the rotational dining experience.

Animator’s Palate

Be a part of the story. At this state-of-the-art dining experience, you will dine on a savoury fusion of Pacific Islands foods, Asian cooking, and fresh Californian fare, surrounded by animation magic, with Disney characters coming to life in front of your eyes. On some voyages you can even design and draw your own characters and watch them join in the fun alongside Disney characters. Animator’s Palate is available onboard Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy and is part of the rotational dining experience.

Rapunzel’s Royal Table

Welcome home Princess Rapunzel! Join the rest of the kingdom as they celebrate their beloved princess’s return with classic American favourites and fresh-food flavours from around the world, along with music and fun all ‘round! Rapunzel’s Royal Table is available aboard the Disney Magic and is part of the rotational dining experience.

Take a splash

When I think of a relaxing cruise holiday, I think of lazy days beside the pool, possibly sipping a cocktail. Well, Disney ships sure have pools! They also have slides… and water coasters. They really have something for everyone. They’ve got pools for big kids and little kids and everyone in between. Adults, if you want a quiet, kid-free pool, the adult’s-only Quiet Cove is the place to be.

Disney’s Private Island

If you’re on one of Disney’s beautiful Caribbean or Bahamian cruises you’ll get the opportunity to stop in at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island! Relax on a lounger on white sands or swim in the crystal-clear waters. If you’re after more “fun”, head to Pelican Plunge where you can ride twisting waterslides right into the lagoon, or the sports beach for volleyball and other beach games. All throughout the day you can catch your favourite characters around the place too! At D23, Disney also announced a second private island will be a part of itineraries soon, Lighthouse Point.

Spacious staterooms

With staterooms that have comfort and versatility in mind, you can’t go wrong with any stateroom on Disney ships. Every stateroom has a sofa for ultimate relaxation, even Inside staterooms! You can’t go wrong with the size and comfort of a Disney Cruise Line cruise. With most staterooms also having split bathrooms with two sinks means everyone can get ready at the same time, meaning you get to the fun quicker! Don’t forget the Disney touch with theming and service.
